THE TURF CARE GUIDE

A little know-how.
A fresher backyard.

What to watch for between professional visits, and when your turf could use a reset.

Low maintenance still needs a routine.

Artificial turf can collect hair, leaves and organic residue between the fibers. A practical care routine starts with knowing how the yard is used and following the manufacturer’s instructions for your specific turf.

Between professional visits

  • Pick up solid pet waste promptly and remove visible leaves and loose debris.
  • Follow your turf manufacturer’s rinsing and brushing instructions.
  • Keep track of recurring odor spots and areas where fibers flatten.
  • Before trying a cleaning product or powered tool, check whether it is suitable for your turf and infill.

Three things to watch for

1. Buildup between the fibers

Look beyond the surface. Hair, dust and small organic debris can stay in the turf even when the yard looks tidy. Professional deep cleaning is designed to work through the fibers and remove trapped material.

2. Odors in pet-use areas

Note whether an odor is concentrated in one area or spread across the yard. Tell the cleaning team how many pets use the turf and how long the odor has been present. That context helps scope pet urine and odor treatment.

3. Matted or flattened fibers

Foot traffic and pet routes can flatten turf. Power brushing and grooming can lift matted fibers and refresh the appearance. Worn or damaged turf may require a separate repair assessment.

Choose frequency by use.

RejuvaTurf offers quarterly care, one visit per month, two visits per month and four visits per month. These options let you discuss a routine that matches the yard. Heavy pet use, recurring odors and faster debris buildup are useful details to share before a plan is recommended.

Before the service team arrives

Confirm access, water or equipment needs directly with the team. Ask which products will be used and when children and pets can return to the treated turf. Follow the service-specific directions and manufacturer’s care guidance.
